This tournament is an annual competition organized by the African Hockey Federation and this will be the 4th time Ghana will be hosting the Africa Cup for Club Champions. The Executive Board of the AfHF, led by its President Mr. Ahmed Seif will be in Ghana for the tournament.

The AfHF has appointed Mr. Mark Taljard (South Africa) and Ms. Hulda Ambe (Nigeria) as Tournament Directors for the competition. Prof. Ediga Agbo of Nigeria has also been appointed the Umpires Manager, whilst Ghanaians Mr. Richard Bayitse and Ms Joyce Datsa are the Technical Officials.

A Local Organising Committee (LOC) chaired by Mr. Kwame B. D. Essah has been put in place to organize the tournament and the Ghana Hockey Association has no doubt that the ACCC will be a success.

The competition offers the Ghanaian clubs an opportunity to win the tournament for the first time as no Ghanaian Club has ever won this tournament. The Ghana Hockey Association believes that hosting will give the Ghanaian clubs yet another opportunity to emerge winners of the competition.

We wish to invite all our media partners to be part of this tournament and over the next week, details of the competition including match schedules will be released.

We also wish to invite our sponsors and all sports loving Ghanaians to visit the Theodosia Okoh Stadium from 20 – 28th January 2018 to witness the best in Africa club .
