He completed Holy Rosary in 2002 and then went to Kumasi high school in 2002 and completed in 2005. He started running in the year 2006 and made his first appearance in the National Junior side in the year 2007. He represented Ghana in the 13th Junior Championship in Poland, 2008 and competed in the 200m race.
In 2009 he joined the senior team making his first appearance in Berlin in the 12th edition of the IAAF World Championships, to compete in 4x100m as a reserve athlete.
In October 2010, he was selected to participate in the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India and competed in the 100m but before then he represented Ghana at the African Senior Athletics Championships in Kenya where he run in the 200m and 4x100m. Currently he is the local champion in the 100m and 200m respectively.
