Jubilation Of National  Sports Authority Workers

Mr. Wolanyo Agra’s Terminal Leave Prior To Retirement

The attention of the Divisional Union of the National Sports Authority has been drawn to a news item put out by a section of the Ghanaian Media (radio) to the effect that workers of the Authority are in jubilant mood as a result of the Leave Prior to Retirement of its Director General, Mr. Wolanyo Agra.

The Union wishes to state that;

a) it has no formal information from the Management of the Authority on the said exit of the Director General, let alone jubilate over it.
b) at least the Union has had healthy relationship with Mr. Agra to the extent that, he freely offered office space to the Union while workers grievances have always been welcomed if not completely addressed.
c) the said news item cannot be the position/view of the entire workers herein represented as the Union.
d) the Union would officially make its views on the supposed exit known to the public at the appropriate time. The public should therefore disregard the rather negative news purported to be coming from workers of the National Sports Authority.
