Geodrill Mining Limited Supports Black Bombers

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Geodrill Mining Limited (GML), Mr. Dave Harper, has charged the national amateur boxing team, Black Bombers, to make Ghana proud in the upcoming 2012 London Olympic Games.


He said the July 27 to August 12 Games is an opportunity for them to raise high the flag of Ghana as it also serves as a stepping stone to a new beginning in their career.
Mr. Harper also assured them of the fullest support and readiness to make sure they excel at the summer games.


He gave these remarks when he presented an undisclosed amount of money to the four boxers who will be representing the country at this year’s Olympic Games.


Captain of the team, Maxwell Amponsah, expressed the team’s profound gratitude to Mr. Harper and assured him of his team’s preparedness to make a mark at the Games. He also added that this donation is enough motivation for them to do their very best in other to win laurels for the country.


Ghana’s team in amateur boxing will be represented by Duke Micah in the Fly weight contest, Sulemanu Tetteh in the Bantam weight contest, Isaac Dogbe Light weight contest and Captain Maxwell Amponsah will compete in the Heavy weight contest.
