Badminton Coaching Course on July 3rd

The Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG) in collaboration with the National Sports Authority (NSA) will organize a technical training course to train Badminton coaches from July 3 2012 at the rlg/Harthramani sports hall, Accra sports stadium.

 

 

A statement from the association noted that the programme forms part of their efforts build the capacity of their coaches to enhance the development and promotion of the Badminton game across the country.
30 participants from the ten regions including selected schools within Accra, Security Services as well as identified Badminton clubs are scheduled to participate in the course.

 


The course will be conducted by Annirao Dajee, a Badminton World Federation (BWF) accredited coach in charge of development under the auspices of the Badminton confederation of Africa.

 


Meanwhile, there will also be a two day Under-15 tournament which would be aimed at identifying potential talents for future development. Thirty-two boys and girls are expected to participate in the tournament from five regions including: Volta, Ashanti, Eastern, Greater Accra and Western regions.
