Trustees recorded their biggest win in the season after walloping Tema Youth by 12 goals to nothing in the Men’s category of the regional league.

The win has placed Trustees in the third position on the league table with 16 points making them to close the gap between them and leaders’ Goldensticks to four points.

In what was termed as the ‘goals party’, Tema Youth came into the game determined to get their first three points in the season but the technical abilities of Coach Linus Komladzei could not match up with his opponent Samuel Ofosu.

Trustees’ Ernest Poku gave his side their first goal in the 11th minute of the game in the first half through a penalty corner and just after seven minutes of to neutralize the game, Tema Youth could not stand the pressure and conceded their second goal from Leslie Banor.

Aseidu George added the third goal in the 25th minute through a field goal and four minutes later Jonney Botsio gave Trustees their fourth goal. Matthew Damalie also added one two minutes before the first half of the game.

After the recess, the Tema boys looked rejuvenated to make amends but Asiedu George again managed to dribble the defense of Tema Youth to score a double in the 38th and 40th minutes of the game to make it seven for Trustees.

This broke down the players one could see from their possession of the ball that they were devastated. The remaining goals followed simultaneously within an average of three minutes interval.
