NASFAG & MOH launch Fitness and Life Expo

The National Association of Sports for All of Ghana (NASFAG) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) has outdoored the first ever Wellness, Fitness and Life Expo 2012.

 

 

The expo under the theme ‘Lifestyle Choices- it’s All About ‘U’ And Your Health’ is scheduled to take place at the Ghana Trade Fair Centre, La will which from June 30 to July 2, 2012 is aimed at helping the Ghanaian youth to keep healthy by exercising three times a week.

 

 

According to the organizers, the inability of Ghanaians to exercise and stay healthier has been a contributory factor to our regular visits to Hospitals and this has urged them to organize the first ever ‘Wellness, Fitness and Lifestyle Expo,’ to coincide with the Ghana keep Fit Festival and Fanfare.

 

 

It will be open to all keep Fit Clubs and Gym’s in the country, health Professionals, Corporate or Workplace Association, Benevolent Organization, Institutional Health Clubs, Community based groups within the country, Youth Fellowships of various churches and Religious based organizations.

 

 

About 50,000 participants from all walks of life are expected to participate in the event which will comprise of exercises, exhibition, seminars, Fun Wellness, fitness and healthy lifestyle solution from various health companies who partners of the expo.

 

 

The objective of the Expo is to create a platform to bring together society to celebrate Wellness, Fitness and Health Lifestyle. It is also to create an avenue for keep Fit clubs, Work Place organizations and the General Public to socialize.

 

 

Another objective is to establish a network platform through games to rejuvenate the mind and mental alertness for work.

 

 

President of NASFAG, Nana Adu Mankata, said he is excited for such an event taking place in Ghana and added that he would work together with his outfit to put up mechanisms to ensure a successful first ever Wellness, Fitness and Life Expo 2012.
