LOC for Karate Championship Inaugurated

A seven member Local Organizing Committee (LOC) has been inaugurated by the Chief Executive of the National Sports Council to ensure the successful hosting of the 13th edition of the Union of Federation African Karate (UFAK) Zone 3 Championship.

The members are Mr. Wolanyo K. Agra-Chairman, Mr. Michael Nunoo-President of Ghana Karate-do Association-Vice Chairman, Madam. Alice Attipoe-Member, Mr. Eric Banoeyele-Member, Mr. Erasmus Adorkor-Member, Mr. Frank Danso-Member, Mr. Patrick Anyidoho Cofie –Secretary.

The Committee is charged with the responsibility of organizing and hosting a successful 13th Union of Federation of African Karate (UFAK) Championship in Accra, Ghana from the 30th July to 6th August, 2011.

 A statement signed by the Secretary General of the Karate-Do Association, Patrick Anyidoho  Cofie noted that the Committee has since started working and has named  the University of Ghana, Legon as the venue for the Championship.
