Black Bombers inches closer to All African medals

Two Black Bombers booked their place to the next stage of the on-going All African Games currently in Congo Brazzaville.

The Ghanaians have now found their feet in one of their favorites sports disciplines at the games which is the noble art of self-defense, boxing. Following three early exits from the games, Azumah Mohammed lived up to that legend name to announce his presence when he had a 3-0 point victory over his counterparts from Equatorial Guinea Toribo Koka Momul to bring some hopes on the faces of the bombers.

It was Azumah, who dominated the three rounds to win the judges heart. Azumah, fights in the light welterweight division. Musah Rahaman, followed up with another superb performance when he defeated Ugandan boxer Bukenya Nasser with a 2-1 victory to book his place in the next stage of the competition.

Officials have announced that a Gold medal will fetch the competing athletes a cool $5,000, silver will earn them $2,000 and a bronze will attracts $1,000  all this is to motivate them at the competitions.
Another win for the bombers will sealed them through to the medal zone of the All African Games.Very disappointing for boxers such as Jessy Lartey, Sullemane Tetteh and Akimos Ampiah, who exited the games Sat early stages.
