Present ere the Chief Operating Officer of FIFA, Mr. Pascal Porters, FIFA’s media officer Christophe Kukawka, soccer maestro, Abedi Pele Ayew, and a representative of the GFA, Mr. Randy Abbey. He also explained that there was only one Travel and Tour Agency, Litina Travel and Tour, that had been accredited by FIFA to handle all travelling arrangements for fans.

For his part, Abedi Pele said the World Cup was the single biggest a showpiece that would take place on the African continent, and urged all Africans to accept it as the greatest gift of all time.

He said: Africa’s time has come and Africa’s moment is now and we should embrace it and savour every minute of it.”
