Registration of Swimming Clubs and Technical Officials

Registration of Swimming Clubs and Technical Officials
The Ghana Swimming Association is calling on institutions (educational, public and private), social centers, hotels and groups who have swimming clubs, to humbly register with the Ghana Swimming Association, the official swimming governing body in the country.

Also included in this exercise are, trained life guards, lifesavers, coaches, time keepers, judges, recorders and club officials. It is intended to help the Association obtain a credible database on these personnel who constitute the stakeholders as well as the technical base.

This initiative falls in line with the Association’s effort and mandate to rapidly imbibe public interest as well as creating opportunities for youth development and promotion of the sport.
In this regard, we encourage prospective clubs to register at the respective Regional Sports Council offices across the country.

Meanwhile, clubs and individuals residing in Accra and Tema can visit the Swimming Association secretariat at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium from Mondays to Fridays,

9am – 5pm for registration or contact the Secretary General on the following details;
Tel: +233 241 242616, Email: ghaswimming@yahoo.com, william.kyei@sportscouncil.com.gh

The Association wishes to also encourage communities, institutions and individuals to form swimming clubs which will compete on regional and national levels.
Deadline for Registration is 28th February 2011.
