Executive Members Of Ghana Disabilities Options Calls On CEO

The President and some members of Disability Options, an NGO based in Ghana called on the Chief Executive Officer of the National Sports Council, Mr. Wolanyo Agra, to express their appreciation for his participation in the launch of the first ever locally produced bicycle for the blind.

Disability Options is an NGO that seeks to develop the disabled through sports and has been in operation since 2004. In collaboration with the NSC and sponsorship from MTN, the organization has fulfilled its dream of locally manufacturing bicycle for the blind.


Mr. Frederick Assar, President of the Ghana Blind Union, Volta Region also expressed his appreciation for Mr. Agra’s effort at supporting them by being there for the launch and spending the day with them.


In his response the CEO of the NSC applauded their efforts in promoting and developing of disable sports and thanked them on behalf of the National Sports Council and the Ministry of Youth Sports. He urged them to plan their activities towards the up coming Sports festival so the Council can coordinate and assist them to participate in the festival.


The President of Disability Options, Madam Anne Doe then presented a plaque to the Chief Executive, Mr. Wolanyo Agra as a token of their appreciation.
