Cycling association organizes serminars

In an effort to rebrand and sensitize the public about Cycling, the Ghana Cycling Association is organizing a 3-packed Seminar to that effect beginning on the 13th November - 4th December, 2010 at the Media Center, Ohene Djan Sports Stadium.

The first phase of the Seminar on 13th November, 2010 will be aimed at sensitizing cycling clubs Chairmen and their executives on the need for effective and efficient management.

The second phase on 27th November, 2010, which will highlight mainly on stakeholders and the media will target the media, corporate institutions and the general public.

The final phase of the Seminar on 3rd & 4th December will capture Coaches, Trainers, Club executives, Cyclists as the target audience and topical issues here will include proper nutritional intake, scientific training techniques, doping, rules & regulations in cycling among others.

This seminar officially unveils the clear cut focus of the Association’s calendar in 2011 serving as a preparatory ground for our activities to come.

The Association believes this Seminar will help improve the administrative, managerial and technical structure of the sport in helping to shape cycling in Ghana and beyond.
