At a Press Conference held at the premises of Promasidor Ghana Limited, the sales and marketing manager Mr. Festus Tettey was of full assurance for the team and pledged their full support for the national team. He reiterated the commitment of Promasidor to further help revive the sport, adding this was just the beginning of good things to come.
The Chief Executive of Promasidor, Olivier Thiry added his support to the course of Ghana Cycling.
Speaking on behalf of the National Sports Council, the C. S. D. O, Mr. Erasmus Adorkor was full of praise for Promasidor. Mr. Adorkor expressed his deep appreciation for Promasidor especially at this dying moment of help.
Team Captain Aminu Mohammed closed the chapter of appreciation for Promasidor by acknowledging what the company had done especially at a time everyone thought Ghana would be dismembered from the International Cycling Union (UCI).
Ghana is expected to feature alongside fourteen (14) other African countries in this year’s edition-a novelty appearance for the country in the history of Ghana of which South Africa is the defending champions.
Samuel Amin, Nuru Pardie, Aminu Mohammed and Henry Tettey Djangmah make up the cycling team with Shaaban Mohammed as the lone ranger official.
