Ghana To Host The 13th Union Of Federation Of African Karate Zone 3 Championship (UFAK)

Karate-Do; Camping of 16 Karatekas

The Ghana Karate – Do Association has invited the sixteen (16) Athletes (karatekas) who qualified for the National team during the 13th and 14th March, 2010 National championship to embark upon a non- residential and residential camping from 24th March to 1st April and 3rd April to 9th April, 2010 at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium and the National Hockey Stadium respectively.

The team will depart Accra for Niamey on the 10th of April, 2010.



The Athletes Karates who will represent the country at the next annual union of Federation of African karate (UFAK) zone 3 championship slated for Niamey, Niger from 12th -18th April, 2010 where Ghana and seven other African countries namely Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote – D’ivoire, Liberia , Niger, Nigeria, Togo will participate.



By the end of the training programme the karatekas will be adequately prepared to win laurel in Niamey and qualify Ghana  to participate in the African karate championship (seniors) slated in cape town, South Africa from 1 -8th august, 2010.
