12th Annual International Union of Federation of African Karate (UFAK) Zone 3 Championship

The Ghana Karate-do Association will take part in the 12th Annual International Union of Federation of African Karate (UFAK) zone 3 Championship which is slated for the 11th to 18th of April 2010 in Niamey, Niger.

As part of the Association’s effort in Promoting fairness and presenting a formidable National team to win laurels for the country, a National Championship which will be followed by an impact oriented residential camping at the National Hockey Stadium will  be held at the Tennis Court of the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium from the 11th to 13th March 2010.


 

  
The Association, as part of its activities to streamline and properly regulate the activities of Karate Practitioners countrywide, identify and offer them assistance when the need arises, there will be registration of all Karate-do clubs (Dojos) and Athletes (Karatekas) under each Dojo on the 11th March 2010 from 10.00 a.m. at the  Ohene Djan Sports Stadium. 

 

 

All Karates are to come with 3 passport size photographs, Junior Athletes (Karatekas) must include their birth Certificates or any acceptable form of identification.
 


About 200 Athletes (Karatekas) are expected to participate in the Championship.
